DISK-SHAPED INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM AND INFORMATION RECORDING METHOD USING THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk-shaped information recording medium capable of performing high density recording of a signal at a good S/N by performing information recording while performing tracking servo accurately and to provide a information recording method using thereof. SOLUTION: The disk-shaped information recording medium is characterized in that at least a phase transition type optical recording layer and a magnetic recording layer are formed in this sequence on at least one side face of a support object. In the information recording method using the disk-shaped information recording medium defined in the claim 1, a tracking signal recorded in advance in the magnetic layer or the phase transition type optical recording layer is read with magnetism or light and performs the tracking servo, and at the same time, recording and reading of the information to this medium is performed by recording and reproducing to the phase transition type recording layer or the magnetic recording layer with light or magnetism.
