Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for generating simulated vibration capable of generating vibration close to the actual vibration when applied to a simulator of a vehicle. SOLUTION: An actual vehicle is operated in a plurality of prescribed states to measure the vibration, and an autoregressive model is identified from the measurement result. The characteristic root of a characteristic equation of this model is obtained, and the characteristic root is displayed on polar coordinate. The characteristic root corresponding to the simulated state of the simulator is obtained on the polar coordinate by the interpolation method. The autoregressive model corresponding to the simulated state of the simulator is obtained using the relation between root and coefficient. By using the autoregressive model, vibrations in the simulated state is generated and applied to the simulator. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
