Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure paper separation with a relatively low pressure of a current of air, in the fusion transfer part of a liquid developing electrophotographic device using a liquid toner. SOLUTION: In paper separation in the fusion transfer part, the fusio transfer part is constituted of an image support having an elastic surface, and a rotary body which faces the image support and has a surface having hardness greater than that of the image support. By constituting the fusion transfer part, with the leading end of a printing medium directed to the rotary body, air is blown to the surface of the rotary body so that the direction in which air blows is substantially vertical to a straight line passing through a nip, the air flows toward the nip on the printing-medium exit side, and the printing medium is separated from the rotary body.
