DEVELOPING ROLLER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the strength of the torque resistant characteristic of the magnet roller of a developing roller and prevent magnetic poles from being displaced in relation to a core metal reference face and a molded component. SOLUTION: The developing roller 1 has a magnet roller 2 having fixed magnetic poles, a non-magnetic developing sleeve 3 disposed outside the magnet roller 2 so as to freely rotate, and flanges 4 and 5 which support the magnet roller 2. The developing sleeve 3 is made to freely rotate in relation to the magnet roller 2. A metal core 7 is pressed into the inside diameter portion 6A of the molded component 6 of the magnet roller 2. The internal wall of the inside diameter portion 6A bites into the grooves 8 of the metal core 7, and thus, they engage with each other by an interference fit. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
