PREHEATING APPARATUS AND PREHEATING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preheating apparatus for preheating the selective parts of respective preforms so that a series of the preforms have a temperature gradient before reheating blow molding, and a preheating method thereof. SOLUTION: In the preheating apparatus 30 for preheating the selective parts of the respective preforms 14, a temperature gradient is achieved before the reheating treatment and blow molding of each of the preforms 14. The preheating apparatus 30 has a gravity slide 26 attached thereto, and each of the preforms 14 falls on the preheating apparatus toward a reheating blow molding apparatus 10 under the effect of gravity to move. The preheating apparatus 30 has the housing connected to the gravity slide 26, and the selective part of each of the preforms 14 is shielded from the atmospheric environment and the heating element fixed in the housing.
