Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin care preparation for external use, which controls complicated skin inflammatory reactions, or the like, and has synergistically improved prevention and amelioration effects on chapped skin and skin aging. SOLUTION: This skin care preparation for external use comprises an extract of a plant of the family Salicaceae and one or more kinds of antiinflammatory agents to obtain synergistically improved prevention and amelioration effects on chapped skin and skin aging. A water extract of Salix nigra is preferably used as the extract of the plant of the family Salicaceae. One or more kinds selected from glycyrrhizic acid salt and a derivative thereof, a glycyrrhetic acid salt and a derivative thereof and licorice are preferably used as the antiinflammatory agent.
