Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for controlling a remote-controlled side mirror of an automobile for controlling to precisely return the side mirror tilted downward to its original position by excluding a noise induced in a power circuit of one motor when the particular motor is stopped and the other motor is rotating under its own inertia, and by counting only a pulse resulting from the rotation. SOLUTION: The left and right side mirrors are simultaneously tilted downward from an initial position for a definite period of time by the motors. At this time, the sum of the pulse 31 of a motor current by the rotation with power supply and the pulse 33 by the inertial rotation is counted for the left and right respectively. Then, when the mirrors are tilted upward, the left mirror is started to be tilted upward at first and the right mirror is started to be tilted upward after the left mirror is tilted upward by a start delay angle T. Accordingly, as an inertial upward tilting of the right mirror is started after the inertial upward tilting of the left mirror is finished, a false pulse 34 generated in the current of the left motor due to the inertial upward tilting of the right mirror can be identified and excluded not to be counted.
