METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MONITORING OPERATIONAL PARAMETER IN COMMUNICATION NETWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring method capable of improving utilization efficiency of a communication network. SOLUTION: Parameters which can be monitored include the service quality, cell discard, cell loss, and other measures of network performance. In this monitoring method, each of a plurality of monitoring sessions, each of which monitors are respective set of operational parameters, is executed simultaneously, thereby monitoring the operational parameters of the communication network including a plurality of mutually-connected network elements. The method includes, during each monitoring session, a step (132) of inputting a set of operational parameters to be monitored, and a step (134) of collecting data related to the operational parameters from one or more network elements and producing each display of the data.
