RIB CORRECTING METHOD FOR PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rib correction method in which the ribs surrounding the deficient part are partly removed before a correction paste is filled in the deficient part and the paste filling work performance can be improved. SOLUTION: In the rib correction method, before filling a correction paste in the deficient part of the rib 11, a deficient part shaping process for removing a part of the ribs surrounding the deficient part is carried out, thereby, protrusions at the rib edge, or fine cracks can be eliminated, and concentration of stress on the deficient part surroundings of the rib 11 can be prevented, and reliability can be improved without having the breakage resulting in lighting deficiency, and manufacturing yield can be improved by correcting steadily to the same state as the normal rib 11. And since the deficient part is opened for correction, the filling work of the paste is improved and the cost of correction work can be greatly improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
