Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slip-resisting agent for paper preventing paper slip as well as improving paper strength and water resistance, and to provide a method for producing the agent. SOLUTION: The slip-resisting agent for paper is obtained by copolymerization between a polyfunctional vinyl monomer and a hydrophobic monomer and, if needed a hydrophilic monomer in the presence of a dispersant comprising shellac and/or an alkaline salt thereof.
