Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyethylene foamed sheet to be used in the application in which the sheet is brought into contact with water by removing the disadvantages of the conventional method which copes with the growth of mildew by the addition of an antibacterial agent or a mildewproofing agent and has a difficulty of durability and the like, particularly due to the organic compound frequently used as the mildewproofing agent. SOLUTION: The polyethylne foamed sheet is produced by (step S1) firing colemanite of an inorganic natural mineral to form a fired colemanite, (step S2) mixing 5-10 pts. fired colemanite with 100 pts. polyethylene resin, adding at least a blowing agent to the resulting mixture, and kneading the resulting mixture to effect foaming, and (step S3) slicing the obtained polyethylene foam to form a sheet having a necessary thickness depending on its use. Thus, the polyethylene foamed sheet which excels in antibacterial properties and mildew- proofness and, in addition, excels in durability can be obtained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
