Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a means which can conduct an insulating film having superior improving effects of an insulation, corrosion resistance, adhesive properties, heat resistance and magnetic characteristics and treating at a low temperature for a short time, without pretreatment such as degreasing cleaning, annealing or the like in insulation treatment of the end face of a core. SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine for a vehicle comprises a laminated steel sheet, containing a burr after punching a core material and having an end-face roughness of the rugged part thereof of 5 to 50 μm; a dry insulating film of an organic silicon compound, having a mean film thickness of 0.1 to 30 μm and a withstand voltage of 60 V or more and formed on the outer surface (the end face or upper or the lower surface) of the core; and a conductive member disposed opposite to the dry insulating film.
