FLEXIBLE DISPLAY UNIT AND FLEXIBLE ELECTRONIC DISPLAY BOARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible display unit which is freely bendable and in which a light emitting element and an integrated circuit (driver) are mounted on the same substrate and to provide a flexible electronic display board that can be mounted on a plane and a curved surface with various curvatures. SOLUTION: Combined light emitting diodes are mounted on the middle part of a flexible printed board so that they are arrayed in a grid shape, and a beam-condensing unit which has holes pierced so as to correspond to the mounting position of the light emitting diodes and in which a plurality of slender parts are disposed parallelly, is mounted on the printed board. A light emission control part for performing light emission control of the light emitting diodes are disposed at the upper and lower parts of the printed board at the same time, and slits cut slenderly from the left and right edges of the board are provided at the boundary between the light emission control part and the middle part mounted with the light emitting diodes. The flexible display units formed in this way are mounted on a flexible chassis with a plurality of the units connected to each other to form the flexible electronic display board.
