METHOD FOR CLEANING LIQUID DEVELOPMENT ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC DEVICE AND LIQUID DEVELOPMENT ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively stably clean a remaining developer aggregated/fixed to an intermediate transfer body in cleaning a liquid development electrophotographic device using a liquid developer. SOLUTION: The liquid development electrophotographic device using the liquid developer comprises: a carrier solution coating means coating the intermediate transfer body after transferring a picture to a printing medium with carrier solution; a bias voltage application means applying a bias voltage having reverse polarity with respect to the charging characteristics of the toner particles of the developer to the intermediate transfer body; and a recovery means recovering the remaining developer by removing the carrier solution coated by means of the carrier solution coating means and the remaining developer not transferring the picture to the printing medium and left on the intermediate transfer body, from the intermediate transfer body.
