Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a range hood being easy to clean and use and better able to trap vapor and smoke, while reducing its manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: The range hood includes a front panel 2; an air straightening panel 3; a panel part 2b connecting the lower rear end of the front panel 2 to the rear upper end of a kitchen cabinet K; and a luminaire 4 directed to the front panel 2 and the air straightening plate 3, at the upper front end of the front panel 2. The front panel 2 forms an arcuate face part 2a raised backward from the upper front end to the lower rear end, and a suction opening 21 is provided in the front panel. The air straightening panel 3 forms an arcuate face part 2a which is larger than the suction opening 21 in the front panel 2 and which is raised backward with approximately the same radius of curvature as the front panel 2. The air straightening panel is mounted in front of the front panel 2 at a predetermined distance to the front panel 2 while covering the suction opening 21. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
