AMPLIFIER FOR SPEAKER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplifier for speaker which is capable of obtaining a satisfactory low-range reinforcing effect by a user's on-operation for reinforcing low-range. SOLUTION: The amplifier for speaker is provided with a low-range reinforcing circuit 1 and a volume adjusting circuit 2 which are used for driving a front left-channel speaker 4, a front right-channel speaker 5 and a subwoofer channel speaker 6. The circuits 1, 2 are controlled by a system control circuit 7, and a reinforcing on/off switch 8 and a volume adjusting dial 9 are connected to the circuit 7. In response to an on operation of the switch 8, the circuit raises the low range in frequency-gain characteristics of the speakers 4, 5 to a high gain side by using a prescribed gain level as the upper limit, while raising frequency-gain characteristics of the speaker 6 to the high-gain side, regardless of the volume adjustment value.
