MICROSWITCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microswitch which has a simple structure and good operability. SOLUTION: The microswitch 1 is equipped with; a case 2 having a predetermined inner space and a through-hole 2c in the upper wall 2a of the case 2 penetrating to the space; a normally-closed fixed contact terminal 3 to which a normally-closed fixed contact 4 is fixed; a normally-open fixed contact terminal 5, fixed to the case 2, to which a normally-open fixed contact 6 is fixed; an operation spring 8, fixed to the case 2, to which a travelling contact terminal 7 is fixed; a travelling contact 9 fixed on the tip portion 8b of the operation spring 8; a pushbutton 10 which moves the operation spring 8; and a compression spring 12 urging the operation spring 8 in the direction of the travelling contact 9 to contact with the normally-open fixed contact 6. An elastically deformable body 11 is placed between the pushbutton 10 and the operation spring 8, and the body 11 is elastically deformable in a predetermined amount after the travelling contact 9 is released from the fixed contact 4 on pushing the pushbutton 10.
