Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damaging an object by controlling the object passing in line and realizing accuracy and high speed in counting the object existing in a medium with flow and measuring the shape. SOLUTION: Optical fiber sensors are arranged in succession, pulses or modulated waves are transmitted and received in turn to them, and the size of the object are made variable according to the intervals. Since a measuring area distributes in spiral in accordance with the movement of the medium, a spiral effect is produced.
