Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a flame, cool a combustion chamber, and attain a high load combustion by controlling the feed position and the direction of combustion air, in a gas combustion device for a cloth drier. SOLUTION: This gas combustion device for the cloth drier comprises: a primary combustion chamber 12 having a plurality of primary combustion chamber openings 13 in the upper part and a burner 11 having a plurality of flame holes 10 facing to its inside; a secondary combustion chamber 15 having a single secondary combustion chamber opening in the upper part and the primary combustion chamber facing its inside; and a main combustion chamber 18 having a single main combustion chamber opening 19 in the upper part and the secondary combustion chamber 15 facing to its inside.
