Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an open-close lock device in which workability, fitting quality and assembling properties are improved. SOLUTION: In a locking mechanism for opening and closing a box such as a container, the locking mechanism is constituted so that the locking mechanism has two rods 17 and 18 having engaging pawls 17a and 18a at front ends, two sliding members 12 and 13 connecting the rods 17 and 18 respectively, a knob 10 driving the sliding members 12 and 13 and a key cylinder 16 installed to the knob 10 and the sliding members 12 and 13 are driven in mutually opposite directions by racks 12a and 13a and a pinion gear 14 by a mechanism changing the rotary motion of the knob 10 into a linear motion.
