STORAGE DEVICE FOR PLATE BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device for a plate body in which a plate body that is long can be easily carried in and out and easily sorted by the kind. SOLUTION: In this storage device for a plate body, a plurality of containers 2 are provided to contain plate bodies 1, and the containers 2 are suspended by a container moving mechanism 7, so that the container moving mechanism 7 is operated to move the container 2 to a prescribed containing position and stop thereat, and to a carrying-in/out position of the plate body 1 and stop thereat. In a containing space 3 in the container 2, a carrying-in/out port 4 for the plate body 1 is formed, and depth size of the containing space 3 from the carrying-in/out port 4 is set to be enough to contain the plate body 1 that is long. The plate body 1 that is long can thus be favorably carried in/out to the carrying-in/out port 4 to/from its long depth space. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
