MONOFILAMENT CONTAINING GRINDING MATERIAL, BRUSH-LIKE WHETSTONE USING IT, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF MONOFILAMENT CONTAINING GRINDING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive monofilament containing grinding material having high grinding property, polishing property, and holding property using a new material, a brush-like whetstone using it, and a manufacturing method of the monofilament containing the grinding material. SOLUTION: In the monofilament 1A containing grinding material, a core part 21 has synthetic fiber, and many synthetic resin filaments 2 having a sheath core structure covered with a first thermoplastic resin 22 are fused by the first thermoplastic resin 22 constituting the sheath to form a monofilament 20. Bar-like grinding materials 3A such as milled fibers of alumina are fused on the surface of or inside the monofilament 20 by the first thermoplastic resin 22. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
