METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING SPEED OF WIRE ROD ROLLING LINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for controlling speed by which the speed change at the finishing stand of a wire rod rolling line is reduced and material passing property on the outlet side of the finishing stand is improved. SOLUTION: In the plural-train wire rod rolling line having a plurality of finish rolling trains with respect to one line of a rough rolling train, the speed correction is dispersed to a plurality of the trains by respectively imparting weight to the amount of speed correction to a plurality of the finishing trains and correcting the speed at a speed master stand by using the total amount of the corrections and the material passing property on the outlet side of the finishing stand is improved by making the absolute value of the amount of speed change of the finishing stand small.
