ADJUSTABLE LEG FOR EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjustable leg for equipment, which is used for adjusting the inclination or height of the equipment, horizontally rotated to be locked or unlocked, and able to make a bolt turn idly at largest and shortest strokes. SOLUTION: The adjustable foot includes a leg (bolt) 10 disposed under an outer frame of the equipment 2 and formed with a lower ground contacting portion and an upper irregular portion such as a screw thread on the outer periphery, a fixing case 4 for inserting the irregular portion 18 such as of the screw thread of the leg 10 into a journaling hole, an operation lever 6 horizontally rotatably provided in the case 4, a lock piece 5 journaled in the case 4 and turned by the guide of the operation lever 6 or a cam groove 39 of the operation lever from horizontal rotation of the operation lever 6, and a spring 7 for pressing the lock piece 5 so as to be engaged with the leg 10. The horizontal rotation of the operation lever 6 turns the lock piece 5 to lock or unlock the irregular portion 18 such as of the screw thread. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
