Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive effectively retaining high initial tackiness inherent therein and exhibiting high adhesive force on an adherend after applied thereto. SOLUTION: The adhesive is such one that the surface thereof is modified with adhesion-reactive functional groups through covering the surface with a polymer by interfacial contact reaction, wherein the polymer bears the functional groups optionally on the side chain and has a glass transition temperature of ≤5°C, the functional groups being preferably selected from carboxy, amino, hydroxy, alkoxysilyl, silanol and vinyl groups.
