SOLUTION: Upon completion of machining, a dust collection unit 41 is mounted to a rotating main shaft 8 of a machining center and a dust collection connector 42 using an automatic tool changer. While jetting a compressed air toward the work piece 37 from a compressed air injection pipe 52 of the dust collection unit 41, the chip is sucked and removed together with the compressed air via a suction head 59 and a suction pipe 51.
