Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate the operation of a dewatering bin in treating the clinker ash slurry in a large-scaled coal combustion furnace. SOLUTION: A knocker 4 and a vibrator 5 are mounted in the dewatering bin 1 for settling and separating the clinker ash slurry sent from a clinker hopper into supernatant water and dewatered clinker ash. Further, a remaining dewatered-clinker ash measuring instrument 6 is mounted for measuring the presence or absence, or the remaining amount of the dewatered-clinker ash remaining in the dewatering bin after the supernatant water is discharged, and a load presence detector 7 is mounted for detecting the load presence of a conveyor 3 carrying the dewatered clinker ash. An ash gate, the knocker and the vibrator are operated on the basis of signals from the remaining clinker ash measuring instrument and the load presence detector in a control system.
