Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict the generation of center deflection of a valve shaft and a valve member as valve forming members in a check and relief valve having a function as a check valve and a function as a relief valve and provided between a main circuit and a charge circuit of a hydraulic continuously variable transmission. SOLUTION: This check and relief valve 35 is provided with the valve member 52 as a valve element of the check valve formed with a valve seat 51 for the relief valve, the valve shaft 58 provided with a valve element of the relief valve and to be inserted into the valve member 52, and a guide member 20 fitted on the valve shaft 52 and for abutting on the valve member 52 to regulate position of the shaft center of the valve shaft 58 in relation to the valve member 52. The guide member 20 is formed with a passage 20c for communicating the charge circuit 32c and the main circuit 32m with each other when the relief valve is opened. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
