Fe-Ni ALLOY SHEET SHOWING EXCELLENT CORROSION RESISTANCE AND ELECTROCHEMICAL PROCESSABILITY
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Fe-Ni alloy sheet showing both corrosion resistance and electrochemical processability. SOLUTION: The Fe-Ni alloy sheet comprises, by mass, 29-55% Ni, 0.001-0.1% Si, 0.001-0.5% Mn, ≤0.01% C, ≤0.01% O and the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities. A photoelec...

Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Fe-Ni alloy sheet showing both corrosion resistance and electrochemical processability. SOLUTION: The Fe-Ni alloy sheet comprises, by mass, 29-55% Ni, 0.001-0.1% Si, 0.001-0.5% Mn, ≤0.01% C, ≤0.01% O and the balance being Fe and unavoidable impurities. A photoelectron spectrometry of its outermost surface detects substantially ≤4% Si+Mn atoms and a metal peak accounting for 0.5-6% of the total area of an FeO peak, an Fe2O3peak and the metal peak. Here, Ni may be partially replaced by ≤10 mass% Co, and the alloy sheet may comprise, by mass, ≤0.005% B, ≤0.01% N and at least one chosen from ≤0.1% Nb, ≤0.1% Zr and ≤0.1% Hf.
