Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a POS probe unit which can severely test a communication state at each sampling period and to provide a testing system of the same. SOLUTION: The POS probe unit 10 for testing is connected to one end of a POS (PPP Over SONET/SDH) channel N, and a frame generator 20 for transmitting a testing frame to the POS channel N is connected to another end. The generator 20 transmits the testing frame to the POS channel N synchronously with a trigger signal showing a starting time point and an ending time point of the sampling period to be output from the POS probe unit 10.
