CELL VOLTAGE DETERMINING UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell voltage determining unit for a fuel cell stack whereby any failure of each unit cell is detected in the early stage by monitoring the conditions of the unit cells individually. SOLUTION: The cell voltage determining unit is equipped with a plurality of comparison parts 43 and 44 and a plurality of output parts 41-1 thru 41-2. The comparison parts 43 and 44 compare the voltage 51 of each unit cell 21 with a plurality of different reference voltages 50-1 thru 50-2 set previously, and as the result from comparison, emit comparison signals 52 and 53. The output parts 41-1 thru 41-2 emit the determining signals 15-1 thru 15-2 to show the condition of the unit cell 21 on the basis of the comparison signals 52 and 53. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
