EXTERIOR CASE FOR NOTEBOOK COMPUTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior case for notebook computers, which brings the case itself into intimate contact with the surface of notebook computers so that a user can operate the computers in a usual open/close operational way and also houses the computer as if it is accommodated in the exterior case when the computer is carried. SOLUTION: An exterior case 10 comprises a first case component 11 and a second case component 21, which respectively cover a computer body 2 and a lid 3 with a liquid crystal panel 3a, by bringing the first case component 11 as well as the second component body 21 themselves into intimate contact with the surface of the computer body 2 and the surface of the lid 3 respectively. Case components comprise main surface units 12 and 22, a front wall 13 and 23 rising from a surrounding edge of the main surface units, two side wall units 14 and 24, and two back wall units 20 and 25. A reinforcing panel 18 being almost formed in a L shape is arranged within the first case component 11 so that the panel 18 overlaps with a part of the main surface unit 12 and the front wall 13. A handle 17 for carrying the computer is fixed on the front wall 13 with the panel 18 and an operational unit to release an engagement of the computer body 2 and the lid 3 is exposed from the surface of the exterior case 10.
