Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide coated paper which has high brightness and a high surface- masking effect, does not cause the breakage of the paper and the deterioration of stiffness in a printing process, does not fall a pigment, when printed, has an excellent ink drying property, when printed, thereby has excellent printing suitability, and has excellent print gloss. SOLUTION: This coated paper is produced by disposing an adhesive and a coating layer consisting mainly of at least one of huntite and hydromagnesite on base paper.
