COMPOSITION FOR PEELING WALL PAPER AND METHOD FOR PEELING WALL PAPER USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for peeling wall paper, which has more excellent penetration into wall paper than that of a conventional composition for peeling wall paper and to provide a method for peeling wall paper with which peeling operation is carried out readily in a short time and a peeled mark is clean. SOLUTION: The composition for peeling wall paper comprises (A) 0.01-10 wt.% of a silicone-based surfactant, (B) 0.1-30 wt.% of a humectant and (C) the rest of water. The method for peeling wall paper pasted on the surface of a substrate such as a wall, etc., is carried out by using the composition for peeling wall paper and comprises (a) a stage for directly applying the composition for peeling wall paper to the surface of wall paper or breaking the surface and applying the composition for peeling wall paper to the broken surface, (b) then, a stage for waiting until the composition softens or dissolves an adhesive and (c) then a stage for peeling the wall paper from the surface of the substrate such as the wall, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
