Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retarding filler which does not form a blister due to its dehydration at the environmental temperatures for molding and using synthetic resins, does not decrease the yielding percentage of a synthetic resin product and comprises an aluminum hydroxide which is excellent in frame retardancy. SOLUTION: This flame-retarding filler comprises an aluminum hydroxide which is hybridized with boehmite prepared by a hydrothermal treatment using aluminum hydroxide as the raw material. This flame-retarding filler can be added to a thermoplastic resin or a thermosetting resin. The thermosetting resin can be an epoxy resin. The flame-retarding filler can have a hybridizing ratio of boehmite of 5-70 wt.%. The preparation process of the flame-retarding filler is a process in which an aluminum hydroxide hybridized with boehmite is prepared by a hydrothermal treatment of aluminum hydroxide.
