By the flickering display, a detergent amount is reported to the user and it is reported simultaneously that it is the time suitable for taking the detergent in the detergent container. Thereafter, a water supply valve is opened and water supply to an outer tub is started (S15). Thus, when the user takes the detergent in the detergent container in the previous detergent feed optimum period, the detergent surely flows out from the detergent container to be fed inside the outer tub.
