PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the failure of detergent feed at the time of a washing operation due to a user missing the timing of taking detergent in a detergent container. SOLUTION: When a load amount is detected and a detergent feed amount is determined (S10, S11), a display device corresponding to the detergent feed amount is displayed to flicker (S12), standby is performed for two minutes after that and then the display device is changed from flickering to lighting display (S13, S14). By the flickering display, a detergent amount is reported to the user and it is reported simultaneously that it is the time suitable for taking the detergent in the detergent container. Thereafter, a water supply valve is opened and water supply to an outer tub is started (S15). Thus, when the user takes the detergent in the detergent container in the previous detergent feed optimum period, the detergent surely flows out from the detergent container to be fed inside the outer tub.
