Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of suppressing use of ink ribbons other than a standard ink ribbon. SOLUTION: The communication system is provided with: a facsimile machine having a print function: and a call center connected to the facsimile machine via a communication line. The facsimile machine includes: a read means for reading individual information of print components; and a transmission means for transmitting the individual information read by the read means to the call center device, and the call center includes: a reception means for receiving the individual information sent by the facsimile machine; a discrimination means for discriminating whether or not the individual information received by the reception means is effective; and a reply means for returning the result of discrimination by the discrimination means to the facsimile machine.
