CARBONIZING OVEN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbonizing oven (carbonizing device) of a simple structure and superior durability that can be downsized, to reduce energy consumption and to easily carbonize even a material of a low thermal conductivity and a low calorific value. SOLUTION: The carbonizing oven comprising a combustion chamber 11 equipped with a combustion burner 11a on a sidewall thereof; a heat chamber 12 connected with said combustion chamber 11 in which a housing 20 for carbonization is installed; a door 13 to shut the atmosphere off by sealing a front opening of said heat chamber; a flue installed at the bottom of the above heat chamber 12 through which a combustion exhaust gas flows to a stack; and a deodorizing chamber 16 equipped with an afterburner 16a on a sidewall thereof and located between the above flue and the above stack 17; is characterized by the above housing 20 for carbonization that is a box type mainframe with a bottom having a top opening and is equipped with a cover plate having a discharge hole of a carbonizing gas attached thereto.
