Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that since a high viscosity liquid moves in a direction of a tip of an ink discharge port in association with a decrease in the ink, the liquid is discharged together with the ink immediately before the ink is completely wasted, a writing operation is conducted without knowing a complete waste of the ink so that only the liquid might be discharged and written for a writer to feel unpleasant. SOLUTION: The coater houses the liquid in a barrel body and disposes a backflow inhibitor moving in association with the decrease in the liquid, at a rear part of the liquid. The inhibitor contains a liquid-like float and a solid float. A cylindrical part is formed in a rear part of the solid float. Movement of the solid float is stopped at an intermediate part of the barrel, and an inner surface of the barrel is closed by its stopping action. A front housing volume at the closed position is increased as compared with the volume of the liquid-like float. Further, closing of the barrel of the solid float is conducted by a wedge action.
