Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method improving the corrosion resistance of a metallic plate constituting component of an electrochemical battery assembly, a fuel cell stack for example. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method for the electrochemical battery assembly, at least one constituting component exposed to a chemical environment during the operation of the battery contains a metal alloy, and the manufacturing method is that the surface of the alloy is treated by passing current while it is brought into contact with an electrolyte before it is assembled in the assembly, the alloy contains the amount of nickel exceeding the nickel content in 316L stainless steel, and the treated constituting component is assembled in the battery assembly.
