Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for selling communication type maintenance service capable of performing prompt maintenance service even to a customer who has not concluded a maintenance contract yet. SOLUTION: A management server 101 provided in a service company 100, which has received a customer's name and the serial number of a product inputted by the customer through Web, selects a test/maintenance program corresponding to the product recorded in a test program database 106, downloads in to the program, receives an error code generated by performing of the test/maintenance program by the product, analyzes it by an error code database 107 to specify the residual life of a part and a part which needs to be replaced, and displays the name of the specified part and a maintenance service to be offered including a message on the Web of the customer.
