Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display device, by which the quantity of a sealant to be applied in a manufacturing process of the liquid crystal display device can be properly controlled. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the liquid crystal display device wherein a sealant applying stage for applying the sealant 5 on at least one of a pair of glass substrates 2 and 31, a sticking stage for sticking a pair of the glass substrates 2 and 31 via the sealant 5 and a liquid crystal packing stage for packing a liquid crystal between a pair of the glass substrates are sequentially performed, seal width after application confirmation marks 3 for confirming the seal width of the sealant 5 after the sealant applying stage are formed on at least one of the glass substrates 2 and 31 before the sealant applying stage.
