CONTROL DEVICE FOR DRIVETRAIN OF VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a smooth control operation by preventing overheat of a control device incorporated in an automatic transmission. SOLUTION: In this control device 20 which is arranged near or inside the automatic transmission 2 for controlling the drivetrain 10 of the vehicle, in response to a temperature sensor 25 for detecting an internal temperature of the control device 20 and when the internal temperature Ta of the control device 20 is equal to or more than a reference temperature Tr, energizing to an IC element for driving which is a heater element inside the control device 20 is stopped. Accordingly, the a shifting operation of the automatic transmission 2 is stopped to lower the temperature, and a heating source inside the control device 20 is removed to prevent the control device 20 from being broken by overheat, whereby the control device 20 is re-operated after temperature reduction.
