GUIDE RAIL DEVICE FOR DOOR PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide rail device provided with a main rail and a branch rail hanging a door panel through a runner by both rails, which prevents a catch at the time when the runner passes through the branch inlet incised in the main rail. SOLUTION: The guide rail is provided with a main rail 7 and a branch rail 9 continuously connected to an incised branch inlet 22. The main rail 7 and the branch rail 9 are opened downward respectively and right and left door panels 1R, 1L are hung through a runner 4. The runner 4 is provided with a runner roll 27 and a bridging body 25 rollingly guided by the main rail 7. A path guide 11 supporting the bridging body 25 is arranged at the lower side of the branch inlet 22. The bridging body 25 rides on a receive wall 35 of the path guide 11 previously before the runner roller 27 drops in the branch inlet 22. Accordingly, the runner 4 does not drop in the branch inlet 22 but smoothly passes through the incision part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
