PROCESS FOR PREPARING POLYAMIC ACID SOLUTION HAVING CARBON BLACK DISPERSED THEREIN AND ELECTRICALLY SEMICONDUCTOR POLYIMIDE BELT USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for preparing a polyamic acid solution that has dispersed carbon black as an electrically conductive filler which is inhibited from aggregating and that is suitable for the production of an electrically semiconductor polyimide belt having a small width of variations in electrical resistivity and provide an electrically semiconductive polyimide belt produced using the polyamide acid solution. SOLUTION: In a process for preparing a polyamic acid solution having carbon black dispersed therein by dissolving a tetracarboxylic dianhydride component and a diamine component in a dispersion prepared by dispersing carbon black and polymerizing the same, the process comprises performing the viscosity adjustment by subjecting the resulting polyamic acid solution having a solution viscosity built up due to polymerization to stirring at a rotation speed of not more than 20 rpm while heating. The polyamic acid solution having carbon black dispersed therein is prepared by the above process. The electrically semiconductive polyimide belt is produced using the polyamic acid solution.
