DISMANTLING MACHINE OF REFRACTORY IN MOLTEN STEEL LADLE AND METHOD OF MAINTAINING REFRACTORY IN MOLTEN STEEL LADLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the working time on the whole of the working of maintaining monolithic refractories in a molten steel ladle, to reduce the amount of the refractories to be used, and to elongate the service life of the monolithic refractories after repair. SOLUTION: The tip of a supporting member performing the movement in the depth direction of a molten steel ladle 1 and its revolution in the circumferential direction is fitted with a cylindrical rotary tool 23 provided with a plurality of crushing type cutting edges on the side faces. In an exciting actuator applying vibrating force in a fixed direction to the cylindrical tool 23, vibration is applied to the direction almost along the axial direction of the crushing type cutting edges at a position in contact with the surfaces of the refractories while pressing the cylindrical tool 23 against the inner surface of the ladle.
