Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current type inverter which can start an inverter immediately when a start command is received and can reduce a power capacity of a charging circuit. SOLUTION: The inverter comprises an inversely converting unit having switching elements connected in a bridge to convert a DC power supplied via a DC reactor into an AC power to supply the AC power to load for forming a parallel resonance circuit, a starting capacitor connected between the inversely converting unit and a load via a starting thyristor switch, the charging circuit for charging the capacitor, and a logic circuit for stopping a gate block of the elements and then starting charging of the capacitor via the charging circuit after a predetermined time.
