Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproducing device which realize seamless reproduction letting a user be unaware of connection points of scenes when arbitrary scenes in an AV data stream are connected in optional order and reproduced. SOLUTION: When an operation mode is a seamless reproduction mode and stream data are transferred to a decoder, a control stream is inserted following the end of one scene (CELL#n) and then a next scene (CELL#(n+1)) is transferred. The decider when detecting the control stream in the transferred stream data does not decode a picture B at the head of the scene (CELL#(n+1)) following the detected control stream.
