ORGANIC EL PANEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL panel with simple configuration and heightened brightness. SOLUTION: The organic EL panel 11 has an organic EL element 13 formed to the front surface of a base plate 12, and a transparent cover plate 14, and the light is emitted from the cover plate 14 side. The cover plate 14 is arranged so as to face the organic EL element 13 with a gap Δ. The cover plate is fixed to the base plate 12 through a sealing member 15. The organic EL element is formed by successively laminating a first electrode layer 16, an organic EL layer 17 as a light emitting layer, and a second electrode 18 on the base plate 12. The gap between the organic EL element 13 and the cover plate 14 is filled with nitrogen gas by sealing nitrogen gas in a space surrounded by the base plate 12, the sealing member 15, and the cover plate 14. Three kinds of light emitting layers of R (red), G (green), B (blue) are formed as the organic EL layer 17. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
